2013 Regional rules/Guidelines For Conemaugh Township AYSO Region 567
Only the players listed on the roster for each team shall be permitted to play in a regularly scheduled game. Should one team have an insufficient number of players they shall borrow from the opposing team to balance the roster.
Division U-5
Sessions should last one hour and fifteen minutes including organizing time and breaks – NO MORE.
10 minutes – group warm-up and activities
- 5 minutes – water break
- 20 minutes – training activities and games
- 10 minutes – team organizing and water break, assigning players to teams, assigning field locations
- 20 minutes – 3 v 3 game (played in two halves of 10 minutes each with a short beak at the quarter to make substitutions and get a quick drink)
- 5 minutes – half time
- 5 minutes –to make changes between quarters
Division U-5 & U-6
- No goal keeper will be played
- Teams will switch goals at half
- U-5 will be played with 5 players on the field
- U-6 will be played with 5 players on the field
- coaches will be allowed on the field for guidance
- No offside will be called
- Games will consist of four 6 minute quarters
Division U-8
- Teams will switch goals at half
- 7 players will be played on the field
- There will be no goal keeper
- No offside will be called
- games will consist of four 8-minute quarters
- No penalty kicks
Division U-10
- Teams will switch goals at half
- No more than 7 players will be played on the field
- For each quarter in goal the player must play an equal time on the field
- offsides will be called, but will be discussed with the player as a teaching moment
- Games will consist of two 24 minute halves
- Substitutions will take place on the quarter mark
Division U-12
- Teams will switch goals at half
- 9 players will be played on the field
- For each quarter in goal the player must play an equal time on the field
- Games will consist of two 28 minute halves
- Substitutions will take place at the quarter mark
